Was macht ein Team Leader Production Engineers bei Coroplast? On October 12, 2019 by Raul Dinwiddie
My name is Marco Dittermann, I am 49 years old and I hold a degree in electrical engineering, specialising in information processing. I have been at Coroplast for three years now. When I joined the company, they gave me the opportunity to concentrate on the area that interests me most – and that is industrial engineering. Personally, I find it very interesting to play a key role in managing such a large machinery pool that extends right across the world. I now have 20 years’ experience in the adhesive tape industry. Even though I have an IT background, there has always been an emphasis on supporting production processes. Later on, the overall focus centred on manufacturing methods and I then worked as a production manager for a few years before joining Coroplast. The incredible variety of everything that is done here makes the job really fascinating. And since I come from an IT background, it goes without saying that digitalisation and automation are matters close to my heart. The good thing about Coroplast is that we are always able to try things out and think outside the box. You can really embrace your inventive spirit here and always try out something new. Automation and digitalisation are technological developments with which companies need to keep pace if they want to survive on the global markets. And I think we do this really well. I especially like the fact that Coroplast is a medium-sized business where you are not just regarded as a number, but as an individual.
