Tour: Student UnionOn December 24, 2019 by Raul Dinwiddie
Welcome to the Union. For starters we have our dining hall, which is buffet style. So you swipe your ID once, stay as long as you want, eat as much as you want. There’s always vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Upstairs we have the Hawk’s Nest,
which is alternative dining options. So if you’re in a rush or you want something really greasy or fries and chicken fingers, burgers and
things like that that’s what you can get there. The Union is a hub for student activities such a clubs, civic engagement, international students, and study abroad activities. Also inside the Union is the Center for Academic and Career Engagement. This is where to go for internship placement, help with résumés, or academic support. They help students connect with alumni in Manhattan and beyond. Most students have internships in Manhattan and that allows them to have some really cool opportunities such as working for like VICE News, The New York Times, some off-broadway shows, or even The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.
