Tersim Backle [Behind The Scenes] – Travail d’équipe – Team Work – 3On December 3, 2019 by Raul Dinwiddie
While Boston was learning the bass parts we started looking for a drummer who can stick to the spirit of the songs and take his place naturally within the band. Many people are talented, and above all a team must be able to rely on each other, so you have to surround yourself with positive people in order to see things with optimism. So we started auditioning a few drummers in the circle of acquaintances, unfortunately they didn’t do the trick … Armed with patience we kept on posting ads on the net but it didn’t work either… One morning chatting with Thierry, a co-worker drummer with whom we’ve already spoken about the project. We talked again about it and the following week we found ourselves in the studio to give it a try. “Got nothing through the wedges either.“ You ain’t got nothing? That means it’s configured to run out through to run out through Ethernet and not as analog, and I can’t figure that out. After a few rehearsals together, we’ve had the opportunity of a gig and LUBI the association organizing this event offered us a one-week residency to be well prepared for this first gig ever. “I’ve crossed my fingers before, dude! it’s just a line that’s not left or right What was that? All the lines must have been assigned left or right and line one wasn’t assigned left or right What crap, don’t you think?” (singing) A little closer to the stars, (laughs) ho, shut up! (Laughs) This is what happens when you wake up in the morning not awoken. when you wake up in the morning not awoken? Yeah, I can say that.” (laugh) It almost took us a day to settle down the whole equipment, at this point, we turned towards Thomas, a friend of us who is sound engineer to give us a hand to resolve technical issues, just to have to focus solely on music.
