Phi and Colby 4×4 TogetherOn February 18, 2020 by Raul Dinwiddie
We started filming in Melbourne and that’s when I was like I’ll just pick up the camera and give it a go, and like it’s probably not that hard and It turns out there’s a whole career path for that because it is hard Stupidly hard actually So I did it like, we had to like teach ourselves how to camera We’ve worked hard for it I mean we’ve got ourselves on channel 31 in Melbourne channel 44 in Adelaide and we’re working with WTV in Perth to get it Over there as well. Hi, I’m Phi I’m a freelance graphic designer and I run my own business Phirano Designs So I’m Colby and me and Phi both run 4×4 Together. And that’s our outdoor adventure web-series each video we try to get Like a member of the community that’s around that area To show us the track. We’re getting the local knowledge. Local knowledge and four-wheel-driving Is stupidly critical. Like if you don’t have it, then you miss out of the most amazing places So I actually grew up in Port Macquarie When I was 19, I moved around and sort of travelled around a bit I got a job within two weeks of moving to Melbourne which was pretty lucky actually But yeah, I met Phi It was love at first sight. You do get like a really good quality of like work-life balance and you can make it work really well And there’s zero travel time to go anywhere, and cuz we like to go fishing and camping and whatnot So in Melbourne, we had to drive like at least three four hours To go somewhere decent whereas here it’s like a 10-minute ride across the ferry and you’re like at an Amazing Beach and whatnot. Yeah, so I actually really I’m enjoying Yeah, I was ready for a change but it was like daunting and scary. As I had no work lined up. So I was just a bit worried. Colby pushing me to run my own business Has worked out really well The lifestyle. Just getting out and like, say ten minutes to go anywhere – amazing – is what I really like about Port.
