Before exploring what the project management is, first we need to understand what we mean
by a project. A project can be defined as a temporary pre-planned and organised schedule
of work with pre-determined objectives that require specific resources and human interventions.
Projects are likely to be unique to an organisation and can be on a small or large scale, involving
few or many people over a short or long period of time.
