Leadership and successful teams – 60 seconds business insightsOn September 16, 2019 by Raul Dinwiddie
If I would describe the culture of Atlas Copco, I would say: innovation and passion. It’s passion for people, passion for customers and passion for products. You don’t drive a company like Atlas Copco from top-down only. As a leader you really need to combine your head, heart and guts. If you work here you need to like to be a little bit competitive at least,
also drive for success. But you don’t drive the success yourself,
You do it in a team, together with your colleagues,
in global, international teams. I truly believe that teamwork is the ultimate advantage of success, and I have the perfect recipe for a “Teamwork Cake”. You need to create trust.
Total transparency in the team. You need to work towards the common goals,
and create the responsibility for achieving the results. And on top of that: the “icing of the cake”
would be that you have so much more fun in teams like that. I’ve seen so many times what great teams can accomplish.
