Join Together for a Better SaskatchewanOn February 14, 2020 by Raul Dinwiddie
Growing up on the farm, my best friend was a dog named George. We would head out each day to find new adventures. It was a great place to be a kid. There’s a freedom on the farm a running wild that many kids don’t get to experience. In rural Saskatchewan you know your neighbours, and those relationships matter. We needed each other then and I believe the same can be said today When your neighbours are in trouble you help them. These are Saskatchewan values they’re New Democratic values and they’e at the core of what I believe. As a family doctor I see first-hand how much people’s health problems are the result of their social and economic circumstances. Access to housing, to an education, to a good job and how much better off we all are when we know our neighbours have a chance to succeed. When I became a father i believe it made me a better doctor. Better at helping families, better at understanding what they were going through. it changed my approach to politics. made me better at listening, at supporting others to take the lead in improving their lives. That’s why i am committed to doing politics differently. To making sure that government is working for each family, for each individual, for each child in this province. Because everyone does better when we remember that we’re all in this together. So please join us by buying or renewing your membership by January 19th and let’s build a better Saskatchewan together.
