HCL, our people: Ibraim – Team LeaderOn October 11, 2019 by Raul Dinwiddie
Hello, my name is Ibraim and I’m a Team Leader for HCL Permanent Nursing I’ve been working in the recruitment industry for about 4 to 5 years now and, for HCL, nearly 3 years I started as a Resourcer then got promoted to Recruitment Consultant, Senior Recruitment Consultant and recently to Team Leader What I enjoy most about my job is the fact that I can come up with ideas and implement them and, on top of that, there’s opportunity to make a lot of money at HCL We have a lot of business all the time; we have a great business development team that goes out there and wins business for us and we have great relationships with a lot of hospitals Once you start the sky’s the limit, which is very good at HCL We have a very good team, from obviously our Managing Director all the way to the Resourcing team We always support each other and that’s how we succeed We recently won the Best Temporary Recruitment Agency at The Recruiter Awards 2016 which shows again how much works goes on throughout the year and we get recognised for that This is one of the best companies, if not the best, in the healthcare sector They give all the opportunities; you have everything that you need; we have an amazing marketing team so, if you work hard you’ll be rewarded I’ve been to pretty much all of the HCL incentive trips We’ve been to Paris – Moulin Rouge; Dublin last year; this year in July we went to the Henry Royal Regatta we also have another which is Monaco so I’m gonna make sure that I’ll be there My colleagues would describe me as motivated definitely, hard worker and resilient I would also say fun! I’m always laughing and making everyone laugh which makes the atmosphere of the team very good I’ll tell you a couple of things about myself I speak different languages; I’m fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, pick up a little bit of Italian also fluent in some African dialects from my parents and grandparents I’ve done bungee jumping in Brazil, which was very good! I’ve done also two safaris in Kenya – which I got lost for 2 days – with some of my friends and I fed a lion, a big lion, it wasn’t a small one
– it was a big lion!
