Prior to the exercise you give all the participants the link to this Youtube channel: Youtube.com/teamexercises On this channel are 100 team exercises categorised into 4 categories: Feedback Exercises Communication exercises Cooperation exercises and Exercises that give insight. Scroll a bit down on the channel and you’ll find them. Instruct each person to choose a category of a topic of which he thinks the team needs to improve upon. And within that category each person chooses one exercise that he thinks would be great to do with the team and he memorises how the exercise needs to be performed. During the day of the training they all come together and the first person that feels like begins to tell the team from which category he chose a team exercise and why. In this case he says: I chose the category: Communication exercises. Because I think we all can improve our communication skills. We works fine together but I think we all can work on our listening skills. So I want to do Team exercise 49 – Transferring. The one that chose the exercise will now lead in this case Exercise 49 – Transferring. When the team has finished the exercise they all share what they experienced and the next person says which category and which exercise he chose. In this case: I chose the category: exercises that give you insight. I think that if we get to know each other on a deeper level that it will improve our work environment. And I want to do Team Exercise 24 – Crossing the line. He now lets the group experience the exercise Crossing the line. Go on like this untill each person has elobarte on his category and has perfomed the exercise he picked. The trainers guides the team during the training and applies variations.
