Gazebo Chat – Bailee (Service Quality Specialist)On March 5, 2020 by Raul Dinwiddie
– Hey guys, it’s Yvonne. Welcome to this week’s episode
of Gazebo Chat. I will be joined by Bailee, who works
in our Service Quality department. She handles member feedback,
as well as compliment cards. Stay tuned to find out what her
unique nickname is and how she got it. Bailee, thank you so much for
joining me in the gazebo. – You’re so welcome – I’m so excited to have you here. – I’m excited to be here! – You’re so fun, you’re a fun
person to be around
– Thank you. – so I’m excited for people to get to
know you. – Thank you. – First I want to talk a little bit about
what you do here at the credit union, tell me how long you’ve worked
at America First and what your position is. – Okay, so, I’ve been with
America First Credit Union for three years, and I’m currently in Service Quality. And we primarily handle our
members feedback and surveys. – Okay, awesome. So what do you do with that
information once you gather it? – My coworkers primarily handle
the surveys, but I have like the most enjoyable part of the job I believe. I get to make little compliment cards. They’re just these little cards and they’re like three by five. And they have little messages from members
or other employees of America First. And then they go out to
all of our employees. – Oh, that’s awesome. That would be a really rewarding job. – Yah, I love it. It’s so
fun to like, see the back end. Because I remember when I first
worked in the contact center I received some compliment cards
and I was like these are so cool. I wondered
who made them, and found out that Service Quality does it. – And now that’s you! – Now that’s my job.
– That’s so cool! It’s nice to be thanked. And it’s a good reminder if you get
good service to share the love. – So you worked, besides Service Quality,
where else have you worked? – So I was in Lending, and I was a loan officer over the phone
in the Contact Center. And then I loved it so much,
I wanted to be a processor. And so then I went on to
process loans. And then, I just fell in, like even more love with the credit union that I wanted to be apart of
it even more and I went to
Complaint Management. – Oh, that would be a tough job. You went from complaints to
like, compliments! – Yah, it was such a big change but, what I have learned is that we as America First we
care so much about our members. We listen to everything that
they say, no matter if it’s good or bad, and then we take that,
we really do try to make America First
Credit Union better for everyone. – So you’ve done a lot.
You’ve been a lot of places. What has been your favorite? – I would say Service Quality. I’m all about awarding and
recognizing what our employees are doing, so I love it! – That’s perfect.
We’ve actually interviewed Laurie Bassett who’s the record holder
for service stars. She’s received, I think it’s five. – Yep, it’s five! – That’s amazing!
– Yeah, she’s wonderful. – What a cool job you have.
– Yeah, I love it. – So, outside of the credit union,
what are your interests? What are your hobbies? – Okay, so, I love music. I love to sing, and I love to
play the piano, and I also play guitar. And…yeah! – Wow! You’re well rounded.
– Yes. – What do you like to sing? – I love Broadway, but I
also sing a little Italian and gospel music too. – Oh! Have you heard your
nickname that’s circulating? – Oh shoot! I think I have a lot of nicknames but I’m not sure which one you
are talking about. – Broadway Bailee. – Oh yeah!
– Have you heard that? I have! And I go like this. – That’s so cute! That’s so fun!
– Thanks. – So what have you used those
talents to do? Have you participated in any like I don’t know, plays
or anything? – Yes, all growing up through
junior high and high school I was in plays like, it was wonderful
I loved it so much. – Alright, are familiar with rapid
fire questions? – Yes.
– Okay, so I’m going to ask you a series
of questions and I want you to tell me the
first thing that comes to your mind. – Okay.
– Alright. So our first question, what’s your favorite… This is actually, probably not
the best question to ask when it’s twenty degree outside.
– Okay. – But, what’s your favorite
ice cream flavor? – I love mint chocolate chip – Ooh! Mint chocolate chip, that’s nice. Okay, What is a sound that
you hate? – Utensils scraping on
plates or glass. – I would have to agree with that. What is the last concert that
you went to? – I do not remember. *laughs* – I don’t really go to
very many concerts.
– No? – Anything like classical concert series of any sort? No?
– No. – Alright. Not a concert,
that’s okay too. – Well thanks so much for spending time with me
in the gazebo.
– Yeah, thank you. – We really appreciate it. – Yeah, I appreciate it.
