Franchise Friday: Teamwork Makes The Dreamwork! On October 18, 2019 by Raul Dinwiddie
Hey, this is Gary Brackett. Welcome to another episode of Franchise Friday. Today we are on the road outside of the Jim Beam distillery here in Kentucky. Just left Maker’s Mark. Had a great time touring the facility, seeing the fermentation process. Seeing the bottling process. Even had a chance to dip the Maker’s Mark and have my own special bottle. It’s really a great experience. But more importantly, the reason that we’re here is vendor relations. Obviously, with our liquor distributors, but also with our food distributors. The next day we’re going to a food show courtesy of GFS, our food vendor. A great partnership. And more importantly, we have our managers with us. So having the opportunity to see vendors, get our managers together. Go on a trip together. Because I think what’s extremely important when you’re building a team is to do some offsite events. And kind of built that partnership, that teamwork. Making sure that everyone knows that they’re part of the family. And I think that’s extremely important. Getting to know people outside of work. And obviously, there’s rules to our engagements. There is adult beverages involved. So make sure no one over indulges, and we’re just respectable. And have a great time getting to know one another. Getting the chance to fellowship. And I think that’s important when you’re building relationships and building a business. It’s important to kind of have some sort of rapport, a connection. Because at the end of the day, and I tell people this all the time: It’s not individuals that build brands, it’s PEOPLE that build brands. And in order for people to build brands, you have to build into your people. So if you’re growing something right now, get involved. Get your people involved. Make them know that they are appreciated. Take them all places when you can and really build that teamwork. Because at the end of the day: the TEAMWORK will make your DREAM WORK . Well, if you want to know more about Stacked Pickle, and our team and our dream, you can go to BuildThePickle.com. And learn more about you joining our team and becoming a franchisee. Take care.
