During the exercise the team stands in a straight line. The trainer stands in front of the group and gives the team instructions of what to to. For example: clap! The team follows up this instruction. Raise your hand. Raise two hands. Spread your arms. Sit down. Jump. Now you tell the team they only follow up the order when you say ‘Simon says’ before the order. Simon says: Raise your hand Simon says: Sit down Spread your arms In this case two persons made a mistake by spreading their arms. They are done and go out of the line. Simon says: Sit down Simon says: Raise your hand Simon says: Sit down One person made the mistake of not sitting down and goes out of the line.
