ACE Adventure Resort | Alpine Tower Corporate Team BuildingOn August 12, 2019 by Raul Dinwiddie
(Team building on our Alpine Tower in West Virginia’s New River Gorge is exciting.) (This video shows you how exciting translates into unforgettable when you’re at ACE.) ACE’s challenge course can accommodate any kind of group from your church youth group to your corporate sales team. What we do is custom design an experience based on your leader’s needs and the needs of the group. play on our high ropes course all day to a more educational experience where we work with your team to approach goals and solve problems in new and creative ways. On the alpine tower we have various different ways to go up. The easiest way is to take the ladder but once you’re half way, you’ve got various different options. moving steps that you can step on. There are also hanging logs you have to get from one to another. Another element is the missing link which is a cargo net with a section missing out of the middle. and you have to get through that and onto another cargo net. There’s something called the corporate ladder or the giant’s ladder. It’s a ladder and each rung gets father and farther apart. Most of the time that is used as a team activity with another person. One of the capstones for our program that we use quite a lot is our giant swing. It’s a wonderful way to finish out the day. to the height you want to go, you let go of the strap and you swing just like a swing set except it’s 50 feet tall instead of 10. If you’re looking for something a bit more educational, either for team building or just a little different challenge for your group, challenges and see what your group is really made of. We were trying to get all of our men to focus on teamwork, focus on leadership, focus on effective communication. All the things that this particular course offers. I think the wall climbing activity was one of my favorites. to which brother was going to go over first. We had to look at the entire group and kind of look at our strengths and our weaknesses. Working together we were able to get over the wall without any problems. One of the most fun parts of my day is watching that team that’s just a bunch of individuals in the morning work together all day and then walk off the course as a team. They know each other a little bit better and they’re able to work together no matter what the differences they started with.
