It’s that time of the year again, the perfect time to show some appreciation to your customers and email list with a Christmas greeting. The best part is that this doesn’t have to take up a whole lot of your time, so here are 3 quick steps on how to “Christmasify” your email. Pick out a holiday template to add some Christmas flair to your email. You have dozens to pick from in your eMarketeer account and all of them work great on both desktop and mobile devices. The best way to stand out from the crowd is to, simply put, be personal. Show off your personality a bit. If you have time, shoot a video greeting. But a fun photo is appreciated as well. Let me show you how you can make it fun and “elf yourself” with the build in photo editor. In my email, I added a photo of some of my colleagues and now I click on the button for PicMonkey. I pick the theme-button in the menu and and choose my theme “Santa Land,” and this is where the fun begins. Here you can decorate you team mates with hats, and just as Santa has a cherry nose and rosy cheeks, I’m gonna give myself that too along with a beard. Once you’re done decorating your colleagues, you can add messages, custom text, some stickers if you want or a frame; whatever you wish. Once you’re happy with it, just click “export” and it’s added to your email. The nice thing with a holiday email is that you can keep it this simple; with a great design and a personal greeting. So this is a bit of a bonus tip: allow yourself to give your content a second chance. Re-use the top piece of content you had this year and let the recipients that didn’t see it the first time enjoy it now. And there you have it.
